Astronomers discover youngest-ever planet which is just 3 million years old

Astronomers have discovered TIDYE-1b, the youngest known transiting planet, estimated to be a mere three million years old. Detected using NASA's TESS telescope, this 'super-Earth' or 'sub-Neptune' orbits its star every nine days. Its tilted orbit allowed observation despite the presence of a protoplanetary disc, offering insights into early planet formation.
